1} Birthday Celebrations

Today, I'd like to say Happy birthday to the first man who held my heart. My daddy. Through his eyes I've seen God's love, through his words I've seen God's wisdom, and through his life I've found God's grace. I can't begin to tell you how thankful I am that God blessed me with this guy for a daddy. 

2} Lisa Leonard Designs

This week I stumbled across a jewelry designer on Instagram and fell in love with her personalized pieces. If you are unfamiliar with Lisa Leonard, go check out her website here. After looking through all of her items, I ended up purchasing this simple stacking ring and had it personalized with Harper's name. I plan to wear it with my wedding band and engagement ring. 3} New Floors & Room Reveals 

Our new hardwood floors went down this week and I can't begin to describe how gorgeous they are! The contractor is finishing up our bathroom today and as soon as he gets done and our house gets put back together, I'll be sharing pictures of the finished product; as well as a room reveal of our newly redecorated laundry room/pantry and living room! 

4} Our Next Project

As we're finishing up one big project, we're fixing to start on another. Our patio has been pretty much neglected since we first moved in. We purchased an outdoor table about three years ago but that's about as far as the decorating ever went. So today, I happened to hop onto Target's website to see all of their patio furniture was on sale and there was an additional coupon code for 10% off. After a quick call to Kevin to see if I could have the go ahead to get some new furniture for our porch, I finally pulled the trigger on some new furniture I've been eyeing for the last year or so. I liked both the Belvedere and the Rolston collection that Target offered, but after talking it over with Kevin, I ended up deciding on the Rolston as the medium wood will mix much better with our dark brown porch and our current light brown outdoor dining table. It should arrive in the next week or so and I couldn't be more excited. Now to just decide on some new throw pillows and an outdoor rug!

5} Weekend Plans

Kevin is off this Saturday and I couldn't be more excited. We haven't been able to spend a Saturday together in quite some time so I plan to soak up every moment that the day has to offer for our little family of three. Our hope is this rainy weather will clear off and we can head to the pool for a little while then we plan to grab dinner with some of our closest friends Saturday night. Just pray the weather cooperates!
