Despite that I have varying emotions about her growing older, I can honestly say I've loved watching Harper develop her own personality and turn into her own person. I also have loved being right there with her experiencing each and every milestone by her side... from seeing her first real smile, hearing her first laugh, watching her learn to crawl, and seeing her take her first steps in front of my very own eyes. These are moments I'll cherish forever. Every milestone has brought so much happiness into our lives.
I'm reminded that each of these milestones means she's a little bit more independent and needs us a little bit less. But I'm thankful that we still have plenty of firsts in our future and many more milestones ahead. I'm looking forward to this next year of life and can't wait to see what Harper discovers she can do next!

Happy Birthday, sweet Harper! Can't believe she is one already! And in just one week, Caleb will be one too!!! Hope you guys have fun celebrating this weekend. Can't wait to hear all about her first birthday party!
ReplyDeleteThanks girl! I'm excited about her party. Here's to praying we have good weather here in NC. Of course it's my luck that this week has been beautiful and the only day they're calling for rain and storms is Saturday :(
DeleteI completely agree about watching them grow and gain personalities. So fun and bittersweet all at once!
